The tip area is generously sized to allow the iron to cool slightly before storage. The tray sits on a slim removable storage tray underneath — ideal for longer items such as heat-shrink sleeving. Two additional separate storage bins keep accessories like solder, a battery, or other small items organised. ⚠️ Always allow the tip to fully cool before returning the tool to the insert.
