Custom 3D printing, made in Wigan

Send us a file and we will print it. Send us a photo of a broken part and we will design it first. Prototypes, production runs, replacement parts and bespoke tooling — quoted properly, per job, by the people who will actually make it.

No file? No problem

We design it, then we print it

Most people who need something printed do not have a 3D model — they have a problem, a broken part, or a sketch on the back of something. Send us that instead. We will model it, show you what we have drawn, and print it once you are happy. You end up owning the file as well as the part.

Colour, printed in

Up to 8 colours in a single part

Most printed work comes back in one colour with paint on top, and paint chips exactly where people touch it. We print colour into the part instead, so logos and lettering are part of the object rather than a finish applied to it. Nothing to peel, nothing to scratch off.

What we make

Seven ways people use us

Most enquiries land in one of these. If yours does not, describe it anyway — the interesting jobs rarely fit a category.

How it works

Three steps, no account required

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

A file, a sketch, a photo or a description. Add the quantity and deadline if you know them — we will ask if you do not.

  2. 02

We come back with a real quote

Including any questions, anything we would change to make the part work better, and a date we can actually hold.

  3. 03

We print it and send it out

On bigger runs we print and check a first article before committing the rest, so problems get caught on part one.

Capacity depends on part size — hundreds of small parts a week, fewer as parts get larger. Send us the part and your deadline and we will confirm what is achievable before you commit.

Materials

Four materials, chosen for the job

We print FDM only. That rules out fine jewellery masters and miniature detail work — and it is exactly the right process for functional, outdoor and production parts.

PLA

Display pieces, models and indoor parts where crisp detail and colour matter more than heat resistance.

PETG

The general-purpose workhorse — tougher than PLA, handles moisture and moderate heat, good for functional parts.

ASA

Outdoor and vehicle parts. UV-stable and weather-resistant, so it will not go brittle or fade in sunlight.

TPU

Flexible parts — gaskets, bumpers, grips, protective sleeves and anything that needs to bend or absorb impact.

Where we work

Based in Wigan, working across the North West

Everything is made here in Wigan. We ship worldwide. Most custom work goes to the UK, but we send finished parts to the USA, Canada, Australia and beyond — shipping is quoted with the job, so you see the full cost before you commit. These are the places we most often work with — but being on the list is not a requirement.

Common questions

What does it cost?

Everything is quoted per job, because the honest answer depends on size, material, how long the part takes to print and how many you need. Send us the part — or a description of it — and you get a real number rather than a "from" price that turns out not to apply to you.

Do I need a 3D file to get started?

No. If you have an STL, STEP, 3MF or OBJ we will work from it. If you have a sketch, a photo of a broken part, or just measurements and a description, we will design it for you and print from that.

What materials do you print in?

PLA, PETG, ASA and TPU. Between them they cover display pieces, general functional parts, outdoor and UV-exposed parts, and flexible parts. If you are not sure which you need, describe what the part has to survive and we will pick.

How large can you print?

Individual pieces print up to 256 × 256 × 256 mm. Larger items are printed in sections and assembled by us — we agree where it splits before printing so the joins land on faces you are not looking at.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum quantity — one part is a normal order. There is a practical minimum cost, because checking a file, setting up and packing take much the same time whether it is one part or ten.

Do you only work with customers in the North West?

No — that is just where most of the walk-up work comes from. We ship worldwide. Most custom work goes to the UK, but we send finished parts to the USA, Canada, Australia and beyond — shipping is quoted with the job, so you see the full cost before you commit. Nothing about the process changes if you are further away: you send the file or the photos, we quote, we print, we send it out.

What happens to my design files?

We use them for your job and nothing else. We do not share them, resell them, or add your design to our own catalogue. If you would like that in writing before you send anything over, just ask.

Tell us what you need

Three fields to get started. Everything else is optional — we would rather hear from you with half the details than not at all.

Optional — only if you know

.stl, .step, .stp, .3mf, .obj, .zip, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .heic, .webp — up to 50MB. No file? No problem: we design from sketches, photos and measurements too.

We don't share your files or use your designs for anything other than your job.
