We already make a catalogue of tool inserts, and the question we get most often is whether we can do one for a tool that is not in it. We can. This is the made-to-measure version of what we sell in the shop: an insert designed around your specific tools, in your specific case, so everything has a home and you can see at a glance what is missing before you drive off.

What we need to quote
Not all of it — whatever you have. We will ask about the rest.
- Which case or box it needs to fit — make and model is usually enough
- The tools going in it, with photos laid out roughly as you want them
- Whether you want labels, part numbers or shadow outlines
- How many sets — one for you, or a matching set for the team
Materials for this work
PLA
Display pieces, models and indoor parts where crisp detail and colour matter more than heat resistance.
PETG
The general-purpose workhorse — tougher than PLA, handles moisture and moderate heat, good for functional parts.
ASA
Outdoor and vehicle parts. UV-stable and weather-resistant, so it will not go brittle or fade in sunlight.
TPU
Flexible parts — gaskets, bumpers, grips, protective sleeves and anything that needs to bend or absorb impact.

Do you only do Milwaukee Packout?
Packout is what our catalogue covers, but custom work is not limited to it. If you can tell us the case and get us the dimensions — or send us the case — we can design an insert for it. Flight cases, tool chests, drawer units and instrument cases are all fair game.
How do you know my tools will fit?
We work from the tools themselves: photos with a scale in frame and key measurements, or the tools posted to us for the trickier shapes. For a fleet order we would usually make one insert first, check it against the real kit, and only then print the rest.
Can you match our branding or add labels?
We can print text, part numbers and shapes directly into the insert in a contrasting colour — up to 8 colours in a single part — so labels are moulded in rather than stuck on and peeling off in six months.
Is this better than cutting foam?
Different rather than universally better. Foam is cheaper for a one-off and softer on delicate instruments. Printed inserts last far longer, do not crumble, hold their shape under weight, and can be reproduced exactly — which matters when you are kitting out a team and want every van identical.
