3D Printing Services for Liverpool

Roughly twenty miles across, and made in the North West.

Liverpool is roughly twenty miles west of us, which in practice means a courier rather than a container. For a city that imports a great deal, there is a decent argument for having the small, urgent, awkward parts made twenty miles away instead of waiting on a shipment for something that weighs forty grams.

What we print for Liverpool

The city runs on a mix that produces unusually varied enquiries: the port and its marine engineering, a large creative and film production sector, life sciences and university research, and a hospitality and retail scene that constantly refits. One week that is a bracket for a boat, the next it is fifty branded counter displays.

Everything is printed at our workshop in Wigan, roughly 20 miles away, and sent out by courier. Delivery cost and timing are confirmed with your quote rather than assumed, because it depends on the size and fragility of the finished item.

3D printing in Liverpool — your questions

Do you print parts that will be used near salt water?

Printed plastics do not corrode, which is a genuine advantage in a marine setting, and ASA handles sun and weather well. What we cannot do is guarantee performance in a structural or safety-critical marine application — tell us what the part actually holds and we will be straight about whether printing suits it.

Can you produce branded items for retail and hospitality?

Yes. Counter displays, menu holders, table numbers, signage and branded fittings are well suited to printing, and with up to eight colours in a single part the branding is printed in rather than applied afterwards.

Is it worth using you rather than someone in the city?

Judge that on the quote and the answer you get, not the postcode. What twenty miles buys you is a UK-made part with a person on the end of the email, no import lead time, and no minimum order of five hundred.
