3D Printing Bureau for Liverpool and Merseyside
Liverpool is roughly twenty miles west of our workshop in Wigan, straight along the East Lancashire Road. HSK 3D LTD is an FDM 3D printing bureau serving the city and the rest of Merseyside — Bootle, Birkenhead, St Helens, Knowsley and Southport — with prototypes, replacement parts and production runs printed to order.
Printing for Liverpool’s industries
Liverpool’s economy is built on the port and logistics, automotive manufacturing on the edge of the city, life sciences and the universities, and a large creative and digital sector. Each produces its own kind of print job. Logistics and manufacturing sites tend to need jigs, guards, sensor mounts and replacement parts for equipment; research groups want one-off rigs and housings; creative studios ask for props, models and display pieces, often in more than one colour.

Capabilities at a glance
Before you send a Liverpool job over, here is what we can and cannot do:
- Process
- FDM (fused deposition modelling)
- Materials
- PLA — Display pieces, models and indoor parts where crisp detail and colour matter more than heat resistance.
- PETG — The general-purpose workhorse — tougher than PLA, handles moisture and moderate heat, good for functional parts.
- ASA — Outdoor and vehicle parts. UV-stable and weather-resistant, so it will not go brittle or fade in sunlight.
- TPU — Flexible parts — gaskets, bumpers, grips, protective sleeves and anything that needs to bend or absorb impact.
- Max build size
- 420 × 420 × 500 mm — large parts in a single piece
- Colours
- Up to 8 colours in a single part
- File formats
- STL, STEP and 3MF
- Job types
- One-off prototypes and repeat production runs
- Turnaround
- 3–5 working days for standard jobs. Lead times for bulk jobs are quoted on request.
Delivery to Liverpool
Finished parts are couriered to Liverpool and across Merseyside, including the Wirral. The delivery cost goes into your quote, so you see the total before you agree to anything. If you are working to a date, tell us when you get in touch and we will confirm whether it can be met.
One-off or ongoing
Some Liverpool customers need one part once. Others need the same part every few months as equipment wears or a product sells. Both work: a prototype or single replacement is priced on its own, and repeat orders are printed from the same approved files so each batch matches the last.
Liverpool print bureau FAQs
Do you deliver across Merseyside, including the Wirral?
Yes. We courier finished parts to Liverpool and the rest of Merseyside, the Wirral included, with delivery priced into your quote.
Can a part be printed in several colours?
Yes, up to 8 colours in a single print. That suits display pieces, branded items and parts where colour shows function — red for stop, green for go — without any painting afterwards.
Which material is toughest for a working part?
PETG is the usual choice for functional parts: tougher than PLA and better with moisture and moderate heat. If the part will live outside, ASA is better; if it needs to flex, TPU. PLA is ideal for prototypes and visual models.
How quickly can you turn a job around?
A standard job takes 3–5 working days. If you need a large quantity, we will quote a lead time for the bulk job when you enquire.
